Thưa Bác! Có cách nào giúp người tu Thiền tông được vững bước, không thoái lui không, thưa Bác?
Thầy trả lời:
Tu Thiền tông được vững bước, không thoái lui thì phải tu như sau:
Cháu đang học thì lo học, lớn lên cháu có gia đình phải lo cho gia đình, có tổ quốc phải lo cho tổ quốc, không cầu xin hay lạy lục ai ở trái đất này vì là nơi ngũ thú tạp cư.
Ở trái đất này mà tu đúng là đi hưởng phước, tu sai là làm Hoa báo hay xuống Địa ngục.
Đặc biệt, cháu phải hiểu thật rõ 3 phần:
- Tổ chức trái đất như thế nào.
- Tổ chức cõi vô hình ra sao.
- Mục đích của đạo lập ra để làm gì.
Thì cháu mới vững bước tu Thiền tông học này được.

If you are studying, you keep studying. When growing up and having a family, you take care of your family. As a citizen, you take care of your country. Don’t beg or bow to anyone on this earth because it is the home of 5 living beings.
On this earth, if you practice right, you will enjoy blessings; if you practice wrong, you will either be reincarnated into a plant or go to Hell.
Especially, you should fully understand 3 parts:
- What is the organization of the earth?
- What is the organization of the invisible realm?
- What is the purpose of religions?
Only then will you be able to follow this Zen Buddhism persistently.
